Mısırlı, who applied to the Consumer Arbitration Committee, filed a lawsuit against the person from whom he bought the car. Mısırlı, who said he bought the vehicle because he trusted it, stated, "Trusting is a good thing, but some people also abuse that trust. I bought the vehicle, I trusted it. When buying a car, one must definitely have it inspected. Otherwise, you will have headaches like me," he said.

"THE SAME RESULT CAME OUT IN THE INSPECTION"

Mısırlı, who stated that the car must be taken for inspection before purchase, said, "Trusting is a good thing, but some people also abuse that trust. There can be bad people too. I bought the vehicle, I trusted it. I tried to sell it. The people I sold it to wanted to inspect it. They said, 'There is an issue with the chassis.' We said, 'Let's show it to the bodywork expert.' The bodywork expert came and looked. He said, 'It has been combined.' Still, I couldn't trust it. I had it inspected. The same result came out in the inspection. When buying a car, one must definitely have it inspected. Otherwise, you will have headaches like me. The inspection report stated, 'added and combined,'" he said.

"THEY TOLD ME, 'IF YOU WANT TO FILE A COMPLAINT, YOU CAN'"

Mısırlı, who stated that he did not examine the vehicle too much when buying it, said, "The guys were asking for 240,000 TL for the car. I saw it in my neighborhood. We agreed on 235,000. I bought the vehicle. I didn't examine it much because it was a taxi. I said, 'Let the engine be good.' I looked at the engine, and it was good. After we agreed, we went to the notary and decided to transfer it to my name. About 2-3 months ago, due to financial difficulties, I decided to sell it. When I learned that the vehicle was combined, I called the person I bought it from. He said, 'I have no idea.' They have a bodywork shop in Adana. They did the paint themselves. When a person paints, they remove the seats. When the seats are removed, it becomes clear that it has been combined. They lied to me. I said, 'Compensate my loss or I will file a complaint.' I said, 'Or take the vehicle back and return the money I paid.' They said, 'There is no money.' They said, 'If you want to file a complaint, you can.' My advice to citizens is to definitely have an inspection done when buying a vehicle. Do not buy a vehicle without an inspection. Such cases happen," he expressed.

"COMBINING THE SOLID PARTS..."

Mahmut Şahin, the President of the Consumers Union, stated, "We are faced with such an event that we don't know whether to criticize or praise. A car has been severely damaged from the back. Another car has been severely damaged from the front. They combined the solid parts to create a vehicle. It is an incredible skill. With beautiful craftsmanship, they combined two vehicles that are not recognizable from the outside. Unfortunately, it is not praised when hidden. Being a fraudster just to earn a few more cents is a matter to be criticized. Because they hid it, the penalty for this should actually be heavier. The legal process has started for the citizen. He will receive the discount amount, but those who did this should be identified and punished. It is nice when it is not hidden, but when it is hidden, it becomes fraud. If you are going to buy a new vehicle, definitely have it inspected. We have detected so many damages in new vehicles and ensured their return that I can't remember the number. We saw what could happen in second-hand vehicles in this case. I congratulate the expert, but I curse those who sell for profit," he said.
