A couple in a car that collided with a truck in Ankara lost their lives.

The accident occurred at night in front of the Ayaş Highway Branch Directorate on the Beypazarı-Ankara road. The car with license plate 06 FHL 31, driven by Hasan Şimşek (54), collided with the truck with license plate 06 AZ 1452, driven by Ahmet Kul. After the accident, in which the car was severely damaged, police, medical, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.

TRUCK DRIVER IN CUSTODY

Health teams determined that the driver of the car, Hasan Şimşek, and his wife, Gülizar Şimşek, who was with him, lost their lives. The bodies, which were removed from the vehicle with the help of firefighters, were taken to the hospital morgue. An investigation has been launched regarding the accident, and the truck driver, Ahmet Kul, has been taken into custody.
