While the echoes of the martyrdom of F-16 pilot Major İbrahim Bolat, who died during a training flight in Balıkesir, continue, similar news has also come from South Korea and Kazakhstan. An F-16C belonging to the South Korean Air Force and a Su-30SM belonging to the Kazakhstan Air Force also crashed.
The F-16 fighter jet, which took off from Balıkesir 9th Main Jet Base around 00:50 at night, crashed in the rural area of Naifli village in the Karesi district 6 minutes after takeoff.
In the accident, Pilot Major İbrahim Bolat was martyred. The body of the martyred pilot was brought to Çiğli Main Jet Base after a farewell ceremony held at Balıkesir 9th Main Jet Base at 11:00.

After receiving permission at his home in Çiğli, the funeral of the martyred pilot was taken to Karşıyaka Hacı Mustafa Beşikçioğlu Mosque. After the funeral prayer performed following the afternoon prayer, the body of the martyr was buried at Kadifekale Martyrdom.
F-16 CRASHED IN SOUTH KOREA AS WELL
