Galatasaray is preparing to make a major deal with Puma regarding jersey sponsorship. The negotiations for revising the current agreement are nearing completion. The new 10-year contract will be worth approximately 100 million euros. This amount is nearly double that of the existing agreement. The new contract will provide significant financial resources to the yellow-red club.
A major income-generating agreement is coming for the Super Lig giant Galatasaray regarding jersey sponsorship. The yellow-reds have reached the final stages of negotiations to revise the contract with their current sponsor, Puma.
100 MILLION EURO AGREEMENT
According to journalist Haluk Yürekli, the new contract between Galatasaray and Puma will be for 10 years and worth approximately 100 million euros. It was emphasized that this amount is nearly double that of the current agreement.
CURRENT AGREEMENT DOUBLES
Haluk Yürekli shared the details of the agreement, stating, "The current agreement between Galatasaray and Puma is 5 million euros annually. With bonuses, there is an amount that rises to between 8.5 and 10 million euros. With the new contract, this amount is roughly doubling. Additionally, there are also revenues from jersey sales. We have now reached the signing stage."
ECONOMIC SUPPORT FOR THE CLUB
The Galatasaray management, led by Dursun Özbek, places great importance on this agreement to economically support the large and costly squad. The new contract will provide a significant source of income for the yellow-red club.
