A person who went insane in the district of Biga in Çanakkale, killed his wife and 8-year-old child with a shotgun before committing suicide.
A man who went insane in the Biga district of Çanakkale killed his 38-year-old wife and 8-year-old son with a shotgun and then committed suicide.
The incident occurred yesterday around 11:00 in the Esentepe neighborhood on the 2nd floor of a building. Allegedly, there was an argument between İsmail Çakmak and his wife Filiz Çakmak for reasons that are not yet known. As the argument turned into a fight, İsmail Çakmak, who went insane, killed his wife Filiz Çakmak and 8-year-old son B.Ç. with a shotgun. Then İsmail Çakmak committed suicide.
THEY LOST THEIR LIVES AT THE SCENE
Upon hearing the sound of a shotgun from the house, the residents of the apartment informed the police and medical teams. When the police and medical teams arrived at the scene, they found İsmail Çakmak, his wife Filiz Çakmak, and his son B.Ç. motionless and covered in blood. It was determined that İsmail Çakmak, his wife Filiz Çakmak, and his son B.Ç. lost their lives after the intervention of the medical teams. After the examination by the Prosecutor's Office and the Crime Scene Investigation team, the bodies of İsmail Çakmak, his wife Filiz Çakmak, and his son B.Ç. were taken to the morgue of Biga State Hospital.

Filiz Çakmak and her son B.Ç., who were killed by her husband İsmail Çakmak with a shotgun, were buried in the village cemetery after the funeral prayer held at Güleçköy Mosque following the noon prayer. İsmail Çakmak, who went insane and killed his wife Filiz Çakmak and son B.Ç. with a shotgun and then committed suicide, was buried in the town cemetery after the funeral prayer held in Gümüşçay town following the noon prayer.
