Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the works on the Bursa-Osmaneli section of the Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High-Speed Train Project will be completed in the second half of this year, making Bursa the 12th province to join the high-speed train (YHT) network.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made a written statement regarding the Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High-Speed Train Project.

"IT WILL BE THE 12TH PROVINCE TO JOIN OUR HIGH-SPEED TRAIN NETWORK"

Uraloğlu stated that the works in the Bursa-Osmaneli section have reached the final stage, saying, "We have reached an important stage in our works in the Bursa-Osmaneli section. We plan to complete this section in the second half of this year. Thus, Bursa will be the 12th province to join our High-Speed Train network."

Emphasizing that the Bursa-Osmaneli section is a critical connection that will directly link Bursa to Turkey's main high-speed train network, Uraloğlu said, "When this section is completed, a train departing from Bursa will connect to the Ankara-Istanbul High-Speed Train line via Osmaneli. Thus, Bursa will be connected to our country's high-speed train network, starting with Ankara and Istanbul."

"THE LINE WILL HAVE A CAPACITY TO SERVE APPROXIMATELY 30 MILLION PASSENGERS PER YEAR"

Providing information about the works on the Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High-Speed Train Line, Minister Uraloğlu continued his remarks as follows: "We are implementing our Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High-Speed Train Line, which is 201 kilometers long and designed for a speed of 250 kilometers per hour. The line, on which we will construct 25 tunnels and 16 viaducts, will have a capacity to serve approximately 30 million passengers per year."

"WE AIM TO COMPLETE OUR WORKS IN THE 106-KILOMETER SECTION IN THE SECOND HALF OF THIS YEAR"

Uraloğlu stated that they aim to complete the works in the 106-kilometer section following the route of Osmaneli, Yenişehir, Yenişehir Airport, Gürsu, and Bursa in the second half of this year, saying, "We have completed the excavation-filling, tunnel, and construction works. We have made 90% progress in the superstructure works. We aim to complete our works in the 106-kilometer section following the route of Osmaneli, Yenişehir, Yenişehir Airport, Gürsu, and Bursa in the second half of this year, while we aim to complete our works along the route from Bursa to Teknosab, Karacabey, Dağkadı, and Kuşcenneti in 2028."
