WARNING ESCALATED
The incident took place in the city center on Wednesday. According to allegations, the vehicle driven by the female judge caused a traffic jam. In response, the commissioner, who was reportedly on duty, first warned the driver verbally using a megaphone. It was claimed that the commissioner, who approached the driver in an official vehicle, warned the driver for smoking while driving. It was reported that the driver threw the cigarette on the ground, and the commissioner issued a second warning for polluting the environment.
IDENTITY DISPUTE ESCALATED
According to a report in Sözcü; at that moment, the driver responded by saying, "I am a judge," and the commissioner requested identification. It was claimed that the driver, stating that she did not have her ID with her, called a prosecutor to verify her identity. After the conversation, it was learned that a brief argument occurred between the parties.
COMMISSIONER SUSPENDED
Two days after the incident, it was reported that the female judge filed a complaint against the commissioner, and the case was referred to the Elazığ Governorship. It was announced that the commissioner was suspended from duty as part of the administrative investigation initiated by the governorship.

Vedat Kılıçel, President of the Law Enforcement Personnel Mutual Aid and Solidarity Association, stated in his explanation regarding the details of the incident that the commissioner was making warnings while performing his duty. Kılıçel expressed that the decision made regarding the commissioner after the incident caused controversy.
