The highest fuel price increase in history has been reflected at the pump. Starting from midnight, diesel prices have risen by 7 TL 80 kuruş, while gasoline has increased by 60 kuruş. Diesel prices have exceeded 86 TL, reaching a record level.

A new wave of increase in fuel prices has occurred. One of the highest price hikes in history has been reflected at the pump.

THE SIGNS CHANGED AT MIDNIGHT

TÜPRAŞ announced the increase in gasoline and diesel prices to fuel distribution companies, effective from today. With the regulation, a 7 lira 80 kuruş increase was applied to the liter price of diesel, and a 60 kuruş increase was applied to the liter price of gasoline. After the increase, the price signs at fuel stations were updated again as of midnight.

Due to the escalator mobile system, only 60 kuruş of the 2 lira 29 kuruş increase in gasoline was reflected at the pump. 75% of the increase was deducted from the special consumption tax (ÖTV). Since the diesel increase exceeded the escalator mobile limit, the increase rate was reflected as it is.

DIESEL EXCEEDED 86 TL

With the increase, the liter price of diesel rose from 78.59 TL to 86.39 TL in Ankara. The liter price of gasoline increased from 63.56 TL to 64.16 TL. It was stated that prices may vary slightly depending on distribution companies and regions.
