A major inheritance crisis has emerged in the Mermerler Group of Companies, which hosts significant firms in various sectors, including food, defense industry, tourism, and transportation. Shareholder Zafer Murat Mermer has filed a lawsuit against his father, Yüksel Mermer, on charges of "fraud," claiming that the ownership stakes in some companies were unlawfully terminated.

The Marble Companies Group, which has significant companies in many sectors in Turkey, has seen a father-son feud escalate to the courts. Yüksel Mermer, a well-known figure in the business world, is being sued for 'fraud' by his son, Zafer Murat Mermer, who claims in the court application that some of his shares in the family companies were unlawfully taken from him.

HE FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST HIS FATHER AND COUSIN

According to a report by Takvim, Zafer Murat Mermer filed a petition in court alleging that his ownership in some companies was unlawfully terminated, and he filed a complaint against his father Yüksel Mermer, who is the chairman of the board, and his cousin Serkan Samrıoğlu, who is a partner in the company.

3 DIFFERENT ALLEGATIONS WERE MADE

In his complaint submitted to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, he also accused his father Yüksel Mermer and other family members he believed were involved in the matter of 'organized fraud', 'threat', and 'forgery of official documents'. Meanwhile, it was suggested in the business world that Yüksel Mermer, who is well-liked, would not do such a thing to his son, and that there might be something else behind this feud.

HE WAS THREATENED BY HIS COUSIN

In April, Zafer Murat Mermer had gone to the police to file a complaint, claiming that his cousin Serkan Samrıoğlu had threatened him with death. It was reported that an investigation was initiated against Serkan Samrıoğlu upon the instruction of the prosecutor's office regarding the incident. Meanwhile, it was revealed that Serkan Samrıoğlu is the son-in-law of the artist Yasemin Yalçın.
