The first incident occurred on Tuesday, July 15, in the Nurtepe neighborhood. According to the information obtained, a helmeted suspect approached the jeweler. The suspect fired a gun at the business and then fled the scene.

The next day, a person who came on foot to the jeweler opened fire on Duygu G., the business owner, who was then riding a motorcycle, and a woman named B.K. THE 14-YEAR-OLD SUSPECTS WERE CAPTURED
Teams from the Kağıthane Public Order Bureau, which initiated an investigation into the attacks, examined security camera footage from before and after the incidents. During field studies, the suspects' residence was also identified. Police conducted an operation at the house and captured M.K. (14) and A.D. (14). The two suspects taken into custody were brought to the police station. During searches at the house, 1,195 grams of marijuana, 560 grams of powdered cocaine, 3 precision scales, an unlicensed pistol, magazines, and cartridges were seized.

It was revealed that the attacks were carried out by hitmen hired by the woman's husband, Özkan G., who wanted a divorce. It was reported that the husband who gave the order for the attack was abroad.
