Yesterday in Elazığ, a scuffle broke out between members of the Furkan Foundation, who came to the municipal police department to collect their banners and posters, and the police officers. The riot, which involved kicks and punches, was ended by riot police using tear gas.

Members of the Furkan Movement, who wanted to collect the banners and posters gathered in Elazığ yesterday, clashed with the municipal police. While a scuffle occurred at the entrance of the directorate, the riot police ended the fight.

MUNICIPAL POLICE DID NOT ALLOW THE UNAUTHORIZED MARCH

According to the information obtained, members of the foundation, who were in the city for the program that Furkan Foundation President Alparslan Kuytul would hold in Elazığ on Friday, wanted to march without permission yesterday. The municipal police did not allow the march. This led to a dispute between the members of the Furkan Movement and the municipal police.
