Remzi G., who was injured after falling off his bicycle in İnegöl, Bursa, was fined 11,875 lira for having a blood alcohol level of 1.93 promille.
An accident occurred in the İnegöl district of Bursa, where the cyclist lost control and fell, resulting in injuries to the rider.
IT WAS REVEALED THAT HE WAS DRUNK AFTER LOSING HIS BALANCE AND FALLING
The accident took place around 8:30 PM on Kemalettin Samipaşa Street in the Burhaniye neighborhood. The bicycle, driven by Remzi G. (71), lost control and overturned. The rider fell from the overturned bicycle and was injured. The injured rider was taken to İnegöl State Hospital by an ambulance dispatched to the scene. The alcohol test revealed that the driver had a blood alcohol level of 1.9 per mille, and after treatment, he was discharged and taken to the police station for his statement.
A FINE OF 12 THOUSAND LIRA WAS IMPOSED
The driver was fined 11,629 TL for driving under the influence and 1,246 TL for endangering traffic safety.
