Batuhan, Hakan, and Çağatay, experienced chefs of the competition, competed in the trio duel. The chefs asked the contestants to make cold stuffed mullet. After the given time, the contestants finished their dishes, but an unfortunate incident happened during the tasting phase. Danilo Zanna found fish bones in the plates of all three contestants.

The chefs who eliminated the plates with fish bones until now did not pass the three names in the duel. Somer Sivrioğlu, saying that they experienced such an incident for the first time in the history of the competition, stated, "The biggest nightmare of MasterChef, especially in the seafood stages, is finding fish bones. It has happened to many contestants before, but today it was a first for all of us. For the first time in the trio eliminations, fish bones were found in the plates of our three friends. When fish bones are found, we skip that plate and do not evaluate it. None of you can make it to the third round. You were our three hopeful friends. We were expecting an exciting competition. But the ending was not good at all. The only thing we can say to you is: You can come directly and compete in MasterChef next year. But unfortunately, the MasterChef dream of all three of you ends here for this year," he said.
