The lifeless body of the person who reportedly jumped from his vehicle on the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge was retrieved at the Emirgan Pier. Police investigations revealed that the deceased was 51-year-old Ruhi Bora Koçak. His relatives were overcome with tears as Koçak's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute's morgue by a funeral vehicle.

JUMPED FROM THE FATIH SULTAN MEHMET BRIDGE
The incident occurred around 15:15 at the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge heading towards Edirne in Sarıyer. According to the information obtained, Ruhi Bora Koçak, the driver of the vehicle with license plate 34 CHN 783, arrived at the bridge during the afternoon hours, got out of his car, crossed the barriers, and then jumped from the bridge. Upon notification, teams from the Marine Port Authority and the Coast Guard Command were dispatched to the scene. Koçak, who was unconscious, was taken from the sea to a boat and brought to Emirgan Pier. Health teams determined that Koçak had lost his life during their checks.
RELATIVES WERE OVERWHELMED WITH TEARS
After the work of the public prosecutor and the crime scene investigation teams, Koçak's lifeless body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue by a funeral vehicle. Meanwhile, relatives who received the news of Koçak's death were overwhelmed with tears at the entrance of the pier. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
