The Spanish Ministry of the Interior has canceled a 6.5 million euro ammunition purchase agreement with Israeli Guardian LTD Israel. The government continues to uphold its commitment not to sell weapons to Israel due to the conflicts in Gaza.

Spain, which has given the strongest response in Europe to Israel's ongoing attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, has made another notable decision. Spain has canceled the agreement for the purchase of ammunition worth approximately 6.5 million euros with Israeli Guardian LTD Israel.

SPAIN CANCELED THE MILITARY AGREEMENT WITH ISRAEL

Spain has canceled the contract for the purchase of ammunition from an Israeli company. The Spanish Ministry of the Interior announced that it has canceled the agreement for more than 15 million 9 mm bullets to be purchased from Israeli Guardian LTD Israel for approximately 6.5 million euros for the Guardia Civil law enforcement agency. Spain has also expanded its commitment not to sell arms to Israel to include these purchases.

"WE CONTINUE OUR COMMITMENT NOT TO SELL ARMS TO ISRAEL"

In a statement by the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, it was said, "The Spanish government has maintained its commitment not to sell arms to the state of Israel since the outbreak of armed conflict in the Gaza territories. Although this is a purchase of ammunition, the Ministry of the Interior has initiated the administrative procedure for the cancellation of the purchase." The Spanish Ministry of the Interior also stated that the mentioned Israeli companies would be excluded from pending tenders.
