Due to the historic rise in oil prices, a price increase of 7 lira and 65 kuruş for diesel is expected starting from Sunday night. Following this increase, the price of diesel per liter in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir is expected to exceed 85 lira.
The fluctuations in global oil markets and the rise in exchange rates have pushed fuel prices up again. According to industry sources, a new increase of 7 lira and 65 kuruş is expected for diesel, effective from Sunday night.
PRICES WILL REACH HISTORICAL PEAKS
With the expected increase, diesel prices will reach record levels. The diesel price per liter, which exceeded 80 TL with the increase of 2 lira and 52 kuruş on Tuesday, will rise above 85 TL in Istanbul with the new increase.
HERE ARE THE PRICES AFTER THE INCREASE IN 3 MAJOR CITIES
The new prices are expected to reach 85.12 TL in Istanbul, 86.25 TL in Ankara, and 86.52 TL in Izmir. The increase will be directly reflected in pump prices.
