As part of the investigation into the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Bursa Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Bozbey and his brother Ramiz Bozbey, among others, were referred to the peace criminal court with a request for arrest, while judicial control was requested for 15 people, including Bozbey's wife Seden Bozbey and daughter Side Bozbey Gürer.
As part of the investigation initiated by the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on March 31, a detention order was issued for a total of 59 people, including Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, on charges of "establishing and being a member of an organization for the purpose of committing a crime, bribery, laundering assets derived from crime, and causing environmental pollution."
PROSECUTOR REQUESTED ARREST
57 people who were detained as part of the investigation were transferred to the Bursa Uluyol Courthouse yesterday afternoon. After their statements, the prosecutor's office referred individuals, including Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey and his brother Ramiz Bozbey, to the peace criminal court with a request for their arrest.
The prosecutor's office also requested judicial control for 15 people, including Bozbey's wife Seden Bozbey and daughter Side Bozbey Gürer.
