It has been revealed that the aid collected for the February 6 earthquakes at Esenyurt Municipality has been left to rot in the warehouse. The aid packages bear the slogan "Esenyurt is healing the wounds caused by the earthquake together," along with the name of Kemal Deniz Bozkurt, who previously served as the mayor.
It has been revealed that the Esenyurt Municipality did not send hundreds of boxes of supplies collected in the aid campaign launched after the earthquakes on February 6, which caused great destruction in 11 of our provinces, but instead let them rot in warehouses.
AIDS WERE NOT DELIVERED TO THE REGION Under the instruction of the former mayor Kemal Deniz Bozkurt, citizens donated various essential supplies such as food items, clothing, hygiene products, baby diapers, and formula in the district where the aid campaign was launched. However, the collected aid was not delivered to the region. The aid materials thrown into a warehouse in Esenyurt two years ago became unusable over time.
CONTAINER KITCHEN WAS ALSO LEFT TO ROT It was learned that the Esenyurt Municipality, which did not deliver the aid to the region, also left the container kitchen built with the municipal budget for Hatay at a construction site belonging to the municipality instead of sending it to the region.
On the aid boxes, there is a slogan saying "Esenyurt is healing the wounds caused by the earthquake together" along with the name of the former mayor Kemal Deniz Bozkurt.
