A male corpse was found in the restroom of a mosque in the Başakşehir district of Istanbul. The deceased, identified as a 65-year-old man, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute's morgue for examination after the work of the crime scene investigation teams.

FOUND WHILE CHECKING MOSQUE TOILETS

The incident occurred around 4:30 PM at the Güngören Industrial Site Mosque in the İkitelli OSB neighborhood. According to reports, a staff member checking the mosque toilets saw someone lying motionless inside. Emergency medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Upon their arrival, medical teams confirmed that the elderly man had passed away.

IDENTITY CONFIRMED

During the police investigation, the deceased man was identified as 65-year-old Niyazi B. After the police and prosecutor's examination, Niyazi B.'s body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
