The Board of Directors of Fenerbahçe Sports Club decided to convene an extraordinary meeting following the detention of President Saadettin Saran in connection with a drug investigation. During the meeting, it is expected that a roadmap will be determined in the event of Saran's arrest, and the name of the person who will act as president in that case has also been revealed.
The drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau is ongoing.
SADETTİN SARAN HAS BEEN DETAINED
As a result of additional evidence obtained during the investigation, Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Sadettin Saran, whose hair samples tested positive for drugs, was detained by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams on charges of "procurement of narcotic substances," "facilitating drug use, and drug use."
