In Antalya's Kepez district, one day after a 5-year-old child fell from the balcony of an eighth-floor apartment and lost his life, the child's mother also fell from the same balcony and died. Police teams have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
In an incident that occurred in the Kepez district of Antalya, a 5-year-old boy named A.Y. Ö. fell from the 8th floor of his apartment and lost his life.
MOTHER ALSO DIED FALLING FROM THE BALCONY A DAY LATER
Following the tragic incident, it was learned that the child's mother, 45-year-old Yulya Zahadan of Ukrainian descent, also fell from the balcony of the same building a day later. Emergency services, police, and crime scene investigation teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification from the surrounding residents. Zahadan, who was severely injured, could not be saved despite all the interventions at the hospital.
EXTENSIVE INVESTIGATION INITIATED
While the police teams have initiated an extensive investigation regarding the deaths of the mother and son, the exact cause of the incidents will be clarified after the ongoing investigations.
