The first footage of Sadettin Saran, the President of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, has emerged after he was questioned as part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and was taken into custody following a positive drug test at the Forensic Medicine Institution. Saran was brought to the hospital by gendarmerie teams for a health check.

SADDETTIN SARAN DETAINED
As a result of additional evidence obtained within the scope of the investigation, Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Sadettin Saran, whose drug test was positive in hair samples, was detained by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams on charges of "providing narcotic substances," "facilitating drug use," and "drug use."

WHAT HAPPENED?
Within the scope of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau, a probe was initiated against Saran for the crimes of "providing narcotic substances" and "facilitating the use of narcotic substances," and a directive was issued for him to be presented at the courthouse for his statement to be taken.
Saran, who was abroad, came to Istanbul and provided a statement to the public prosecutor conducting the investigation at the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan on December 20.
After completing his interrogation at the prosecutor's office, Saran was referred to the Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK) for hair and blood samples to be taken. After his procedures were completed there, Saran was brought back to the Istanbul Courthouse.
Saran was referred to the peace criminal court with a request for judicial control in the form of a travel ban due to the charges of "providing narcotic substances," "drug use," and "facilitating drug use," and the court issued a judicial control measure in line with the request.
In the report prepared by the ATK, it was determined that Saran's hair samples tested positive for drugs, while the test results for blood, urine, and nail samples were negative.
