The Board of Directors of Fenerbahçe Sports Club decided to convene an extraordinary meeting following the detention of President Saadettin Saran in connection with a drug investigation. During the meeting, it is expected that a roadmap will be determined in the event of Saran's arrest, and the name of the person who will act as president in that situation has also been revealed.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is continuing its drug investigation conducted by the Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau.
SADETTİN SARAN ARRESTED
As a result of additional evidence obtained during the investigation, Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Sadettin Saran, whose hair samples tested positive for drugs, was arrested by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams on charges of "procurement of narcotic substances," "facilitating drug use, and drug use."

Following the development, the Fenerbahçe Sports Club Board of Directors decided to hold an extraordinary meeting. The roadmap to be followed in the event of President Saran's arrest will be determined at the meeting to be held at the club's headquarters.

On the other hand, the name to act as deputy in case Saran is arrested has also been revealed. In such a case, it has been learned that Vice President Murat Salar will take over the duties in accordance with the Fenerbahçe Sports Club regulations.
