A man who harassed a high school student by blocking their path in Adana has been arrested.

The incident occurred on October 7 at around 8:00 PM in the Havuzlubahçe neighborhood of the Seyhan district. Oktay S., on a motorcycle, blocked the way of a high school girl who was returning home by bus while walking on the street. The suspect unzipped his pants and showed his genitals to the girl. The panicked girl screamed, ran away from the area, and called her father on her mobile phone to explain what had happened. Following this, the father and daughter went to the Dağlıoğlu Police Station to file a complaint against the suspect.

MOTORCYCLE TURNED OUT TO BE STOLEN

Teams from the Seyhan District Police Department's Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau examined approximately 100 hours of security camera footage from the street and route. Identifying the suspect's identity and address, the teams arrested Oktay S. during a raid at his home in the Sarıçam neighborhood of the Yüreğir district. It was determined that the suspect's motorcycle had been stolen from the Kepez district of Antalya, and the license plate on it belonged to another stolen motorcycle.

INVOLVED IN 'CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE' CRIME IN 2013

Oktay S., who was taken to the police station, was reported to have been involved in a 'Child Sexual Abuse' crime in 2013 and had 24 records for 'Theft' and 'Causing Injury by Negligence'. Oktay S., who is married and whose wife is pregnant, stated in his testimony, "I passed by there, but I did not harass anyone." After the proceedings, Oktay S. was referred to the courthouse, where he was arrested by the court.
