In a warehouse in Çorum, a mother and her 12-year-old son lost their lives after falling into a waste oil tank.

Upon receiving a report that two people had fallen into the waste oil tank at the waste oil collection depot on 43rd Street in Çorum Industrial Site, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. During the inspection conducted by the teams, it was determined that the depot owners, Hacer Kepçe and her 12-year-old son, Recep Kürşat Kepçe, had lost their lives.

Teams worked intensively to remove the bodies of the mother and son from the tank. The lifeless bodies of the mother and son were taken to the morgue of Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital. The investigation initiated regarding the incident is ongoing.
