After the attacks initiated by Israel against Iran with the support of the USA, the living conditions of civilians in the region have become difficult, while Azerbaijan sent humanitarian aid to Iran. Under the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev, food and medical supplies were dispatched to Iran using vehicles belonging to the Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations.
After the attacks initiated by Israel on Iran on February 28 with the support of the USA, the crisis in the region continues to make life difficult for civilians. Azerbaijan announced that it has sent humanitarian aid to the affected areas.
INSTRUCTION FROM ILHAM ALIYEV
The Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations, based in Baku, announced that humanitarian aid has been sent to Iran. In a statement from the ministry, it was noted that the aid was prepared in accordance with the instructions of Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev and was dispatched using ministry vehicles.
FOOD AND HEALTH SUPPLIES INCLUDED
It was reported that the prepared aid package included basic food products and medical supplies. In this context, it was announced that 10 tons of flour, 6 tons of rice, 2.4 tons of sugar, more than 4 tons of drinking water, approximately 600 kilograms of tea, and about 2 tons of medicine and medical supplies were sent to Iran.
AID SUPPLIES DISPATCHED BY VEHICLES
It was stated that the aid supplies dispatched by vehicles belonging to the Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations were sent to Iran to be delivered to those in need.
TENSION EASED
On the other hand, the tension between the two countries, which arose after an unmanned aerial vehicle allegedly sent from Iran fell on Azerbaijani territory, was partially eased by Azerbaijan's humanitarian aid initiative.
