Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı harshly criticized the referee Ozan Ergün of the Galatasaray derby, saying, "The moment he turned his back in the Osimhen incident, he ended his career."
Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı made headlines with his statements to the press after attending an iftar invitation. The president of the black-and-white club used striking expressions about the referee Ozan Ergün in the derby played against Galatasaray.
"I DO NOT TRUST THE VAR TEAM"
Speaking at the iftar invitation given by Beşiktaş Divan President Ahmet Ürkmezgil, Serdal Adalı stated that he has serious doubts about the Portuguese VAR trainers working in the Central Referee Committee. Adalı mentioned that he also conducted research about these individuals in Portugal and expressed that he did not hear any positive opinions.
Adalı said, "I had discussions about these individuals from Portugal. Not a single person said anything positive about them. I do not believe that team is honest. I want them to resign as soon as possible."
"RELEASE THE FOOTAGE FROM THE VAR CORRIDOR"
The Beşiktaş President particularly requested that the camera footage from the corridor where the VAR room is located be shared with the public. Stating that phone connection records should also be examined if necessary, Adalı expressed that they would not let the issue go.
Adalı also argued that MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu should resign, saying, "He cannot control his board, he should resign."

Adalı, who directed harsh criticisms at the referee Ozan Ergün of the derby match, said that the young referee could make mistakes on the field, but some situations were unacceptable.
Serdal Adalı reacted with the words, "Ozan Ergün is a young referee, he could make all kinds of mistakes on the field. But he turned his back to avoid showing a card in Osimhen's situation... That moment was the end. Ozan Ergün ended his career, what a pity."
