In the morning hours of a robbery that took place in Kuyumcukent, Istanbul, 7 people entered an underground parking lot, loaded millions of lira into a commercial vehicle, and fled. A search has been initiated to capture the suspects, who were seen carrying long-barreled weapons.
A major robbery occurred in Kuyumcukent, one of Turkey's largest and one of the world's few jewelry production and trade centers, in the morning hours. According to the information obtained, the incident took place on Monday, March 9, at 07:22 in the closed parking area of Kuyumcukent Shopping Mall.
7 PEOPLE LOADED THE MONEY INTO A VEHICLE AND FLED
A group of 7 robbers, with two acting as drivers, loaded the money stacked in the parking area into their commercial vehicle. The suspects quickly fled the scene with the money.
ROBBERY CAPTURED ON CAMERA SECOND BY SECOND
The robbery, which took place in seconds, was also captured by security cameras. The footage revealed that the suspects were carrying long-barreled weapons. After the incident, police teams began working to capture the robbers, while no official statement has yet been made by the authorities regarding the matter.
