President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan issued a new circular as part of the Strategy Document for Roman Citizens and the Phase II Action Plan, which continues the social policy efforts aimed at Roman citizens. The circular aims to increase access of Roman citizens to public services and to ensure their stronger participation in social life.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan issued a new circular within the framework of the "Strategy Document for Roman Citizens (2023-2030) and Phase II Action Plan (2026-2030)", aimed at strengthening the participation of Roman citizens in social life and enabling them to benefit more effectively from public services.
EMPHASIS ON SOCIAL INTEGRATION AND WELFARE
In the circular published in the Official Gazette, President Erdoğan highlighted that significant policies have been implemented to raise the socioeconomic welfare levels of Roman citizens, strengthen their social integration, and increase their access to public services.
FIRST PHASE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED
The circular reminded that the Strategy Document for Roman Citizens (2023-2030) and the Phase I Action Plan (2023-2025) have been successfully implemented with the coordination of the Ministry of Family and Social Services and contributions from all relevant ministries.
It was emphasized that during this process, supportive activities for Roman citizens have been carried out in many areas, primarily in education, health, employment, housing, social services, and social assistance.
PHASE II ACTION PLAN COMING INTO EFFECT
President Erdoğan stated that the Phase II Action Plan has been initiated to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of efforts aimed at Roman citizens. It was expressed that the "Strategy Document for Roman Citizens (2023-2030) Phase II Action Plan (2026-2030)" prepared in this context will be published on the official website of the Ministry of Family and Social Services.
COORDINATION INSTRUCTION TO MINISTRIES AND GOVERNORATES
In the circular, it was requested that the relevant ministries and institutions at the center, and the relevant units under the responsibility of the governorates at the local level, provide all necessary support in the implementation of the Strategy Document and Action Plan.
President Erdoğan emphasized that tasks and responsibilities should be carried out with sensitivity through cooperation and coordination.
