In the case where 27 people, including Zeki Doruk, the Chairman of the HAKMAR Group of Companies, are being tried for the financial structure of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), a detention warrant was issued for 4 defendants, including Doruk.
The Istanbul 15th Heavy Penal Court evaluated the objection made by the prosecutor's office regarding the release of the defendants Zeki Doruk, Yalçın Uçar, Kahraman Bora, and Cengiz Güneş. The court panel issued an arrest warrant for the four defendants.
In the case heard at the Istanbul 14th Heavy Penal Court, a decision was made for the release of Doruk, Uçar, Bora, and Güneş, and the prosecutor's office objected to this decision.
FROM THE INDICTMENT
In the indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 27 individuals, including Zeki Doruk, the chairman of the HAKMAR Group of Companies transferred to the TMSF, and 22 companies are listed as "suspects," while the companies are requested to be subjected to asset confiscation under the "Law on the Prevention of Financing of Terrorism" and the "Anti-Terror Law."
The indictment requests that 15 suspects, including Zeki Doruk and Adem Doruk, be sentenced to 14 years and 2 months to 28 years and 3 months in prison for the crimes of "membership in an armed terrorist organization" and "violation of the Law on the Prevention of Financing of Terrorism," while 12 suspects are sought to be imprisoned for 7.5 to 15 years for the crime of "membership in an armed terrorist organization."
The indictment notes that in the inquiry conducted through UYAP regarding the suspect Zeki Doruk, a public case was opened by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on April 11, 2023, for the crime of "membership in an armed terrorist organization," but it is recorded that the actions in question that occurred since that date are of a new nature.
