U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that they are targeting Iran's Hark Island, asserting that "all military targets here have been completely destroyed."
Trump, who alleged that the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) carried out one of the most intense airstrikes in Middle Eastern history, stated that he preferred not to attack the island's oil infrastructure, but he would reconsider this decision if the free and safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz is interfered with.

Reports indicate that more than 15 intense explosions occurred across Hark Island, which was targeted by U.S. warplanes. The struck locations include military air defense systems, the Cuşan naval base, the airport control tower, and the continental shelf helicopter hangar.

FARS NEWS AGENCY: OIL INFRASTRUCTURE WAS NOT DAMAGED
The agency reported the latest situation on Hark Island, which was targeted by U.S. airstrikes.
It was noted that the oil infrastructure on the island, where more than 15 explosion sounds were heard following the U.S. attacks, was not damaged.
It was stated that attempts were made to damage the air defense system belonging to the Iranian Army, the Cevşen Naval Base, the airport control tower, and the continental shelf helicopter hangar during the attacks.
Intense smoke was observed on Hark Island, and it was reported that the air defense system became operational a few hours later.
THE IMPORTANCE OF HARK ISLAND
Hark Island is Iran's main oil export terminal and accounts for approximately 90-95% of the country's crude oil exports.
The island has large storage tanks, pipelines, and tanker loading facilities connected to Iran's largest oil fields.
Since oil revenues finance a significant portion of the Iranian government and economy, the island is of critical economic importance.
It is also a major strategic and military target; disruptions to activities here could seriously harm the Iranian economy and affect global oil prices.
