The decision includes US-origin soybeans, orange juice, beef, and various industrial products.
The European Union retaliated against the United States, which ignited the trade war, with a response from the EU following China. In response to Donald Trump's $350 billion threat, the European Union took a step worth 21 billion euros.

The 27 member states of the European Union, which took a concrete step against the United States for the first time, unanimously decided to impose additional tariffs. The decision includes U.S.-origin soybeans, orange juice, beef, and various industrial products.
TO TAKE EFFECT ON APRIL 15
The European Commission, which manages the EU's trade policies, announced that the tax decisions will start to be collected on April 15.
The European Commission stated, "If the U.S. side accepts a fair and balanced negotiation outcome, these countermeasures can be suspended at any time."
TRUMP'S $350 BILLION THREAT
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump recently stated that European Union countries must purchase $350 billion worth of American energy to be exempt from customs duties. Trump said, "They have to buy energy and be determined to buy."
