A flash decision has been made regarding referees, who are the number one subject of the never-ending debates in Turkish football. The meeting between the Clubs Union Foundation and the Turkish Football Federation has concluded. Clubs Union President Ali Koç announced that they will be part of the new system of the Referees' Association. After the meeting, Koç made a brief statement to the press. Koç said, "As clubs, we have decided to be part of the new refereeing model. Mr. İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu made a very brave decision. He said regarding refereeing, 'Then take it, you also be a part of this and design it.'" "A VERY BRAVE DECISION"In the continuation of his statements, Koç said, "The biggest subject of football is football clubs. Nevertheless, unfortunately, we have no say in matters related to our own interests. This could be the broadcasting tender, digital rights, ticketing companies... Officially, we have no say; we only have as much say as the current TFF allows us. The decision made by Mr. İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu is a very brave decision."
