A new footage has been released of the attack in which Israel killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, using a bunker-busting bomb on September 27, 2024. In the circulated video, it can be seen that the asphalt was penetrated and the area was blown up at the moment Nasrallah was killed with a 900-kilogram Mark 84 series bomb in the underground command center.

Images of the assassination attempt on Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah by Israel in September in the Lebanese capital Beirut have emerged.
THE ASPHALT WAS PIERCED
In footage shared by Arab media, captured by a building's security camera, it was seen that as a man exited the building and mounted his motorcycle, a bunker-busting bomb hit the road, piercing the asphalt and causing an explosion. The man on the motorcycle was seen desperately retreating back into the building as the street was engulfed in rubble and a cloud of dust.
KILLED IN THE UNDERGROUND HEADQUARTERS
64-year-old Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an attack by the Israeli army on September 27, 2024, at Hezbollah's main headquarters located beneath a building in Dahiyeh, south of Beirut, Lebanon's capital. It was claimed that Nasrallah was confident that Israel would not engage in a large-scale war with Hezbollah, dismissed his advisors' concerns, and resisted calls to move from the underground bunker where he was killed on September 27.
FUNERAL ON FEBRUARY 23
Hezbollah's new leader Naim Qassem announced last Sunday that a "grand funeral ceremony" for Nasrallah would be held on February 23. It was stated that Nasrallah had been temporarily buried in a secret location after the assassination, and the funeral would take place later.
