The detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu was protested in Antalya in the evening hours. The crowd, which gathered at the Konyaaltı beach promenade, started to walk towards the Konyaaltı City Square while chanting slogans. Before reaching the square, the police blocked the group's path and did not allow the march.
7 PEOPLE DETAINED
After the group was not allowed to march, they staged a sit-in for a while. Despite warnings, the group did not disperse, and the police intervened with water cannons and riot police. While 7 people were detained, the group dispersed as a result of the police intervention.
