Salih D., who was at risk of drowning in the sea at the Büyük Bakraç location of Tatlısu Neighborhood in Balıkesir's Erdek district, was rescued by citizens and lifeguard teams and handed over to medical teams. The moments were captured by a drone camera that detected the drowning citizen's location.
DRONE FOUND THE LOCATION
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon at the Büyük Bakraç location of Tatlısu Neighborhood. Those who saw a person struggling in the water and facing drowning immediately took action. The citizen's location was detected by İlker Ceylan, who had launched a drone in the area. While Ceylan guided the citizens on the shore using images from the drone, the submerged person was quickly rescued and brought to the shore.
HEALTH CONDITION SERIOUS
The individual, identified as Salih D., was taken to the hospital by ambulance after initial intervention by medical teams dispatched to the scene upon notification. While it was learned that Salih D.'s health condition remains serious, the rescue moments were recorded second by second by the drone camera.
