French President Emmanuel Macron made a one-day visit to Lebanon. During his visit, moments when a person kissed Macron on the cheek caught attention on social media.

French President Emmanuel Macron visited the capital Beirut as part of his one-day trip to Lebanon.

It was stated that Macron would try to help accelerate the establishment of a government that could quickly implement reforms following the election of Joseph Aoun as President and the appointment of Nawaf Salam as Prime Minister, which could pave the way for reconstruction efforts in the country where a ceasefire was established between Israel and Hezbollah as of November 27.
