The incident occurred at the Open Penitentiary Institution located in the Ferizli district. According to the information received, 76 individuals incarcerated in the institution experienced symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and weakness after the meal. It was assessed that 5 inmates were affected by the food they consumed and were transferred to the hospital, while 71 were treated in the infirmary of the penitentiary institution.

A COMPREHENSIVE INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED

It was learned that the inmates sent to the hospital were returned to the penitentiary institution after their treatments, and a comprehensive investigation has been initiated regarding the matter.
