A popular iron brand in Turkey has recalled some of its models.

The manufacturer Versuni announced that it is recalling steam iron models from Philips' PSG8XXX, PSG90XX, and GC96XX series. The company stated that the reason for the recall is a manufacturing defect in the weld seams of the steam tank.

This defect could lead to uncontrolled steam release, causing burns or impact injuries. Users are advised to immediately stop using the affected products and unplug the device from the socket.
