After Israel's retaliatory attacks, the leadership crisis that has emerged in Iran continues. "HAMANEY HAS BEEN IN A COMA FOR DAYS" CLAIMRecently, a bombshell claim was made by the Israeli press. It was alleged that Iran's religious leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has been in a coma for days. IRAN IS TRYING TO HIDE THE DEATHThe U.S.-based New York Times also published a report in October stating that Khamenei's health condition was "critical." No official statement has yet been made from Tehran regarding the health status of 85-year-old Khamenei. The reason for this is considered to be an attempt to prevent complications arising from the concealment of Khamenei's death. HIS SON WILL TAKE OVERThe Israeli press noted that the Iranian religious leader was last seen on November 7, and claimed that following the official announcement of his death, his eldest son, Mojtaba Khamenei, would take over. TEHRAN WILL ANNOUNCE SOONMeanwhile, former U.S. National Security Advisor Herbert Raymond McMaster also suggested that the Tehran administration would announce Khamenei's death in the coming days.
