In the Karatay district of Konya, a student bus collided with a municipal bus. In the accident, 26 people were injured and the injured were taken to hospitals. Authorities visited the injured after the accident.
As a result of a collision between a student service and a municipal bus in Konya, 26 people were injured. The municipal bus, whose license plate has not yet been learned and was driven by H.G., collided with the student service with the license plate 42 C 0727, driven by S.E., coming from a secondary road in the Saraçoğlu neighborhood of the Karatay district. In the accident, 26 people in both vehicles were injured. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Passengers and students who were reported to be slightly injured were taken to hospitals by ambulances.
THE GOVERNOR OF KONYA VISITED THE INJURED
The Governor of Konya, İbrahim Akın, visited the injured at Konya City Hospital and Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. The Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, Uğur İbrahim Altay, also stated in a statement made on the social media platform of the US-based company X, "I extend my best wishes to our students, families, and fellow citizens affected by the traffic accident that occurred in the Saraçoğlu neighborhood of our Karatay district. I wish a speedy recovery to our injured brothers and want to express that we are closely following the process. May God protect our children and our nation from all kinds of accidents."
