While the military operations of the US and Israel against Iran continue, US intelligence reports indicate that the Tehran government does not face an imminent risk of collapse in the short term and that the regime maintains its control over the country.

US intelligence reports have revealed that despite military operations by the US and Israel against Iran, the regime in Tehran is not at risk of collapsing in the short term.

REPORT THAT WILL CREATE AGENDA

According to a report by Reuters based on US intelligence sources, the assessments indicate that the political and military leadership structure in Iran remains largely intact and that the regime continues to maintain control over the country. Sources noted that various intelligence reports contained similar analyses stating that "the regime is not facing an imminent collapse risk."

"MILITARY LEADERSHIP REMAINS IN PLACE"

A secret assessment prepared by the US National Intelligence Council also suggested that even broader military attacks against Iran are unlikely to overthrow the established religious and military leadership in the country.

"OPPOSITION TAKING POWER IS UNLIKELY"

The report stated that even if there are significant losses among the leadership in Iran, state institutions could maintain continuity of governance through predetermined succession mechanisms. The analysis also pointed out that the opposition in Iran does not have the capacity to take power in the short term.

These assessments have raised questions about the expectations that military operations conducted by US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could lead to regime change in Iran.

COST OF WAR TO THE US IS INCREASING RAPIDLY

According to calculations by the US-based Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the cost of operations against Iran in the first 100 hours has amounted to approximately $3.7 billion for the US. Based on these calculations, the daily cost of the conflict has reached about $890 million. Experts indicate that if the operations prolong, the Pentagon may request additional budget.

Some US senators estimate that the cost of the war could range between $890 million and $1 billion per day. However, the Pentagon has not yet announced an official total cost. Economists also warn that if the war lasts long, the total cost to the US economy could exceed $200 billion.

US AND ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN

Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.

In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed. According to Iranian officials, 1,332 people have lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
