In a study conducted in 26 provinces, citizens were asked, "How often do you pray?" While 18.8% of the respondents answered, "I pray all the time," 44.5% stated that they do not pray at all. The proportion of those who only pray on Fridays, holidays, or for gratitude was 36.72%.
Asal Research shared its survey titled "How often do you pray?" conducted in April 2022 and August 2024. According to the survey conducted with 2,000 people in 26 provinces, the rate of those who said "I pray all five daily prayers" was 23% in April 2022, while this rate dropped to 18.8% in August 2024. In the same survey, the response "I do not pray" was 41.8% in 2022, while it increased to 44.5% in 2024.
