A 55-year-old tourist in Taiwan put her life at risk in her eagerness to take the perfect selfie. A train hit the woman who was trying to take a photo next to the train tracks. Shocking footage of the incident went viral on social media. On December 14, the conductor of the train operating the Chiayi-Alishan route sounded the horn to warn the tourist named Liu Nu when he noticed her. However, the woman did not notice the approaching train from behind as she was trying to capture the best angle. The sharp corner of the train struck the tourist, who was too close to the tracks, throwing her to the ground. Amid the screams of other tourists, Liu fell to the ground and remained motionless for a while. With the help of other tourists who rushed to her aid, the woman began to move and was taken to the hospital. It was determined during the examination that her left leg was broken. The train service had a one-hour delay due to the accident. A total of 62 passengers were affected by the incident. It was learned that the group participating in the tour organized by Dream International Travel Agency approached the tracks to take photos.
