In the city of Samara in the Afar region of Ethiopia, a truck carrying migrants overturned yesterday around 11:00 local time. According to a statement from the Afar Regional Administration, it was reported that 22 people lost their lives and 65 others, 30 of whom are in serious condition, were injured as a result of the accident.
THERE ARE CONCERNS ABOUT THE INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF FATALITIES
While the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment, officials stated that the number of fatalities could increase.
