In the new wave of operations conducted as part of the "bribery" investigation against the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, a trustee has been appointed to "Kanal V," a television station based in Antalya.
The Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched a new wave of operations within the scope of the "bribery" investigation against the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality. While detention orders were issued for 20 people, 17 individuals, including the former daughter-in-law of the suspended Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek, Zeynep Kerimoğlu, were taken into custody. It is reported that among those detained are municipal officials and businesspeople.
A TRUSTEE HAS BEEN APPOINTED TO CHANNEL V As part of the operation, a trustee has also been appointed to the television channel "Kanal V," which broadcasts from Antalya. Kanal V, owned by Mehmet Okan Kaya, began its broadcasting life on December 20, 1992.

Within the scope of the bribery investigation initiated by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek and his former daughter-in-law Zeynep Kerimoğlu were taken into custody, while his son Gökhan Böcek was reported to be abroad.
Muhittin Böcek, who was referred to the courthouse, was arrested on July 5, while his former daughter-in-law Zeynep Kerimoğlu was released under judicial control with a travel ban.
Following the decision, Böcek was suspended from his duties.
Muhittin Böcek's son Gökhan Böcek was also arrested on August 20.
