A tunnel network belonging to the PKK/YPG has been uncovered in Manbij.

In the context of the Operation Dawn of Freedom initiated by the Syrian National Army (SNA), a tunnel network wide enough to accommodate vehicles belonging to the terrorist organization PKK/YPG has been discovered in the district of Manbij, which was liberated from the organization.

Search and scanning activities are ongoing in the tunnel discovered in a neighborhood with apartment buildings in Manbij, which has been freed from the occupation of the PKK/YPG terrorist organization.

TIRE TRACKS FOUND

In the interconnected tunnels, whose length has not yet been determined, a road made for vehicle access draws attention. Additionally, tire tracks and remnants of items left by the organization's members are found inside the tunnels, which are wide enough for vehicles to enter.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The SNA had liberated the center of the district of Tel Rifaat from the terrorist organization PKK/YPG on the first day of the Operation Dawn of Freedom, which was launched in December. With the liberation of the district of Manbij, the region, which had turned into the largest terrorist stronghold west of the Euphrates River, was cleared of PKK/YPG.
