A female expat living in Germany who plans to make a permanent return to Turkey rebelled after seeing the prices of detached houses in tourist paradises. Stating that she examined listings in popular areas like Urla and Fethiye, the expat said the prices exceeded those in Europe. Expressing that she is willing to give up her luxury in Germany to return to her homeland, the woman reacted to the astronomical figures, saying, "Some houses have prices written as if they come with an island."

An expatriate woman living in Germany and making plans for a permanent return to Turkey was utterly shocked when she saw the prices of detached houses along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts. Expressing her outrage in a video shared on social media, she stated that the prices rival those in Europe and reacted, saying, "For this price, they should give an island with the house."

"WE ARE WILLING TO GIVE UP LUXURY, BUT..."

Stating that they desperately want to move to Turkey and are even willing to give up their living standards and luxuries in Germany due to homesickness, the expatriate woman said:

"We want to return to Turkey permanently so much and so sincerely that believe me, we are now willing to give up our living standards and luxuries in Germany. Because in this country, both our soul and our nerves are truly exhausted. The only thing we want is to be in our homeland and find peace."

"PRICES RIVAL EUROPE"

Saying they have been searching for detached houses in the Izmir, Urla, and Fethiye areas for weeks, the woman could not hide her astonishment at the prices in the listings she encountered. Noting that everything is getting more expensive worldwide but that the real estate market in Turkey has "gone mad," the expatriate continued:

"But for God's sake, what are these real estate prices? We've been looking for a detached house in the Izmir, Urla, and Fethiye areas for weeks, and honestly, our minds are blown. Some houses have prices that make you think they're giving away an island with them. We used to think Turkey was more affordable. Now, in some places, prices are even surpassing those in Europe. Okay, everything is expensive worldwide, but this is too much, brother."

"WHO IS BUYING THESE HOUSES?"

At the end of the video, addressing her followers and residents of the area, the expatriate woman questioned the state of the market, asking:

"Who is actually buying these detached houses? Are we exaggerating, or has the market completely lost its mind? If there are people living in Urla, Fethiye, or nearby areas, I am genuinely curious: are these prices normal, and are there any buyers?
