The incident took place on November 18 at around 10:45 AM in Mecidiyeköy. According to the information obtained, a person brought their mobile phone to Tufan K.'s shop for repair. The shop owner, after completing the repairs the next day, returned the phone to its owner. However, a few days later, the mother of the person who received the phone came to Tufan K. and claimed that the phone was not working. Tufan K., after examining the phone, told the woman that they had broken the phone and stated that he could perform a paid repair.

In response to this answer, the angry woman punched Tufan K. After the shopkeeper retaliated in the same way, a fight broke out in the shop.
