A baby and her mother, who were abused by the father in Ordu, have been taken under state protection.

In the Ünye district, a grandmother claimed in a social media post that her newborn grandchild was abused by the father.

MINISTRY TAKES ACTION

Following the grandmother's complaint, the Ministry of Family and Social Services took action. In a statement from the ministry, it was noted, "Our teams, affiliated with the Ordu Provincial Directorate, have promptly acted upon a complaint regarding an individual abusing his own child in Ordu Ünye. The baby and her mother, who underwent health checks, have been taken under state protection by our ministry. Additionally, our expert teams are providing psychosocial support services to the mother. As a ministry, we will closely monitor the judicial process to ensure that the suspect receives the heaviest penalty."
